BS6 MG Hector diesel gets a price hike of Rs 45,000 in comparison to the outgoing BS4 counterpart.

MG Motor India silently introduced BS6 compliant Hector diesel SUV in the Indian market. The 2020 BS6 MG Hector has been priced in the range of Rs 13.88 lakhs - Rs 17.73 lakhs (ex-showroom). Compared to BS4 compliant Hector diesel, the pricing has jumped-up in the range of Rs 40,000 - Rs 45,000, throughout different variants.

BS6 MG Hector diesel continues to source power from the 2.0-litre FIAT-sourced diesel engine. The engine delivers a power output of 170 bhp with 350 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. 

 


Apart from the BS 6 update, there is no other change in the SUV. The equipment and features remain the same. The basic ‘Style’ trim continues to feature the projector headlamps, steel wheels, height-adjustable driver seat, AC vents for the second row, a reclining rear backrest, an audio system, and remote locking. 


The range-topping ‘Sharp’ trim packs in more tech, such as powered front seats, auto climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, and the company’s iSmart connected-car technology.
