Booking starts at Rs 5000 for 2020 Mahindra Mojo BS6

BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300  has been launched today in India at an introductory price of Rs. 1,99,900 (ex-showroom), India. Recently, Mahindra started accepting pre-bookings for BS6 Mojo 300 at a token amount of Rs 5000. New Mojo 300 will be retailed in four new colour options: Garnet Black, Ruby Red, Red Agate and Pearl Black. The 300cc motorcycle will rival the likes of KTM Duke 390 and Bajaj Dominar 400 in the Indian two-wheeler market.  BS6 Mojo 300 will replace the outdated BS4 XT300 and UT300 variants. The newly launched bike does not offer any cosmetic updates and is quite similar to the outdated BS4 model.  The new bike is roughly Rs 11,000 more expensive than its predecessor.

As just mentioned, the BS6 Mojo 300 retains all the design elements from the outgoing model. Thus they include alloy-wheels, blacked-out mechanical parts, sculpted fuel tank and twin-pod headlamps cluster. Feature-wise, the motorcycle comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster. The bike has an analogue counter for the tachometer and a digital screen for showcasing information like speed, odometer, trip meter and many more. Like the design, its dimensions also remain unchanged. So therefore the Mahindra Mojo measures 2,115 mm in length, 800 mm in width, and 1,150 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,460 mm and a ground clearance of 165mm. The bike weighs around 186 Kgs, which is 5 Kg heavier than the BS4 model.

Performance-wise, the New Mojo 300 is powered by a BS6 compliant 300 cc liquid-cooled engine. This powertrain delivers 27 bhp of maximum power output and 30 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox as seen on the older version. Suspension duty is take care by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock towards the rear. While the braking responsibilities are handled by a 320 mm disc in the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear with a dual-channel ABS.

More information on booking and deliveries is expected in the coming few days.
