Honda is offering huge discounts on variants of the Current-Gen BS6 City; 2020 New-Gen City is all set to launch in July this year.

Honda Cars India is offering discounts and benefits of up to Rs 1.50 lakh on the current-gen City before the arrival of the new-gen City in July this year. The current-generation Honda City is available in the price range of Rs 9.91 lakhs - Rs 14.31 lakhs (ex-showroom). According to the new benefits scheme, eligible customers can avail benefits up to Rs 45,000 on the SV MT, V MT, and V CVT variants of the City BS6 petrol. This offer includes a Cash Discount of up to Rs 25,000 along with an additional Car Exchange Discount of Rs 20,000. The VX MT variant of BS6 City is offering benefits up to Rs 72,000. This offer includes a Cash Discount of up to Rs 37,000 and an additional Car Exchange Discount of Rs 35,000.

 

While the VX CVT, ZX MT, and ZX CVT variants of the BS6 City petrol is offering Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh. The offer includes a Cash Discount of up to Rs 50,000 along with an additional Car Exchange Discount of Rs 50,000. 

Honda unveiled the 2020 new-gen City a couple of days back. The company is all set to launch the car in July this year. It is likely to equip the upcoming sedan with segment-first features. Cosmetically, the City will feature full-LED headlamps and L-shaped turn signals upfront. The rear end will get Z-shaped 3D wrap-around LED tail lights. Being dubbed as India's first fully connected car, the mid-size sedan will debut Alexa remote features that enable the owner to interact with the car from their home or office. Other highlighted features include 17.7cm HD fully colored TFT Meter with Multi-Function Driver Information Interface and G Meter, Seat-back Pockets with Smartphone Sub-Pockets, Steering Mounted Commander Scroll Switch, Walkaway Auto Lock, & All Auto Power Windows and Panoramic Sunroof.

Under the skin, the 2020 new-gen Honda City will come fitted with two engine options - 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. The 1.5-litre petrol engine will produce 121 bhp power and 145 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox along with CVT as an option. While the 1.5-litre diesel motor will churn out 100 bhp of maximum power output with 200 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
