News Highlights

  • BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 110 comes with a couple of cosmetic updates
  • It is heavier by 2 kgs than the BS4 model with overall weight of 112 kgs

Hero MotoCorp has launched the BS6 Maestro Edge 110 at an introductory price of Rs 60,950 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. The scooter also gets an alloy wheel variant which is priced at Rs 62,450 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). Last week, we told you that the company has listed the BS6 compliant Maestro Edge on its official website and the launch was imminent. For those asking, BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 110 undercuts both of its rivals - Honda Activa 6G and TVS Jupiter - by a decent margin in terms of pricing.

The BS6 Maestro Edge scooter comes with a slew of cosmetic updates which include revised decals. It now comes with a large ‘Edge’ decal with multiple stripes while the exhaust muffler has been replaced with a new one which seems to have been borrowed from the 125cc Maestro Edge. All the aforementioned updates have resulted in an increase in weight by 2 kgs and taking the overall weight to 112kgs. The suspension duties are helmed by a telescopic fork upfront and a single shock absorber at the rear. The scooter rides on 12-inch front wheel and 10-inch rear wheel, while braking duties are handled by drum brakes as standard. BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 110 bookings and deliveries start from today at all the company authorized dealerships.

Some of the salient features of the BS6 Maestro Edge 110 are an underseat light and USB port, an external fuel filler cap and a side stand indicator. It draws power from a BS6 compliant engine which we have already seen with the Pleasure Plus. The engine generates maximum power output of 8.16bhp and peak torque performance of 8.75Nm while linked to a CVT gearbox. The aforementioned power and torque figures are identical to the BS4 compliant scooter which had a carburetor as compared to BS6 model's fuel injection technology.
