Harley Davidson launched the BS6 1200 Custom model at Rs 10.77 lakhs (ex-showroom) in the Indian market earlier this year. The American motorcycle brand recently hiked the price of the BS6 1200 Custom by Rs 12,000. The motorcycle is now available at Rs 10.89 lakhs (ex-showroom). The 2020 Harley Davidson 1200 is offered in four color options namely Midnight Blue, River Rock Grey, Billiard Red/Vivid Black, and River Rock Grey/Vivid Black. The Midnight Blue color variant is now the most affordable after this price hike. It is available at Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom). While the dual-tone model with the Billiard Red/Vivid Black paint scheme is priced slightly higher at Rs 11.25 lakhs (ex-showroom). Apart from the price hike, there are no changes made to the motorcycle. The 2020 Harley Davidson 1200 comes equipped with a plethora of features. These include a single-pod semi-digital instrument cluster, dual short exhausts with chrome finish, and fat tyres that give a retro appeal to the bike. Its suspension duties are taken care by telescopic forks up front and dual shock absorbers towards the rear. As for brakes, the two-wheeler gets twin discs at the front and a single disc towards the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.
Under the frame, the motorcycle is powered by the same BS6 compliant 1202cc air-cooled Evolution V-Twin engine that churns out 96 Nm torque. Lightweight aluminium heads and cylinders have been added to improve the engine’s air-cooling efficiency.
The Harley Davidson 1200 Custom is the second model in the brand’s line-up to receive a price hike. The first being the Iron 883 model that has received a similar price hike of Rs 12,000. Currently, it is available at Rs 9.38 lakhs (ex-showroom).
