Force Motors launches the Trax Crusier and Toofan in the country

Force Motors has recently launched the BS6 version of Trax at a starting price of Rs 11,00,666 (ex-showroom). The company had unveiled the Trax at the 2020 Auto Expo this year. The people carrier is offered in four variants namely Cruiser, Cruiser Deluxe, Toofan, and Toofan Deluxe.

In terms of dimensions, the Trax measures 5120 mm in length, 2027 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3050 mm. Its ground clearance stands at 160 mm having a fuel tank capacity of 63.5 litres. Furthermore, the Trax rides on 15-inch wheels. 

With a BS6 update, Force Trax gets a completely new interior. The cabin boasts of a dual-tone interior with a combination of black and brown. It gets completely new seats. The seating capacity changes with respect to the variant. The Cruiser gets two seating capacity options namely 12+D and 9+D. In the case of 12+D arrangement, the bench seat is available in last row. While for the 9+D arrangement there is front-facing 3 rows of seating. Talking about the Toofan variant, it is offered only with an 11+D seating option. The people carrier gets a totally new dashboard and a new instrument cluster. The instrument cluster comes equipped with a speedometer and a tachometer having big circular dials. There you can also find the fuel level, engine temperature, and other indicators as well. In terms of safety features, all variants get ABS with EBD as standard. 

Under the bonnet, the new Force Trax draws its power from a BS6 compliant 2.6-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine. The engine generates 90 bhp power @ 3200 rpm and 250 Nm torque @ 1400 - 2400 rpm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are taken care of by independent double-wishbone upfront and leaf spring towards the rear. As for brakes, it gets disc in the front and drum at the rear.
