The BS6 compliant version is nearly Rs 1-2 Lakhs premium than its BS4 counterparts

Ducati India has launched the BS6 compliant Scrambler 1100 at a starting price of Rs 11.95 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. The new motorcycle has been introduced in two trims: Pro and Sport Pro. The Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro attracts a sticker price of Rs 13.74 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India). It is Ducati's second BS6 compliant bike in the Indian market after the Panigale V2. The BS6 Ducati Scrambler 1100 will be at loggerheads with the likes of Triumph Scrambler 1200, Honda CB1000 R, Kawasaki Z900 RS and Indian FTR 1200 in India.

The Scrambler 1100 duo features new liveries, dual stainless steel exhausts, low number plate holders, machine-finished aluminum covers and retro-inspired front headlights, which are reminiscent of the original Scramblers. Some of the advanced electronics include Ducati Traction Control, Bosch Cornering ABS & adjustable riding modes as standard on both the variants. The Pro variant has been designed for a comfortable position for long rides, while the 1100 Sport Pro variant makes for a sportier ride with low-slung handlebars, front & rear Öhlins suspension & café-style mirrors. The rear end of Ducati Scrambler 1100 boasts of new double side silencers with exciting acoustic feedback.

The Brembo braking system with cornering ABS comes as standard for both variants of Ducati Scrambler 1100. The front wheel mounts a dual 320 mm disc with two Brembo M 4.32B monobloc calipers with radial connection. At the rear there is a 245 mm disc gripped by a caliper with a 34 mm piston. Mechanically, the motorcycles are powered by a BS6 compliant 1100cc L-twin engine which develops maximum power output of 86bhp at 7500rpm and peak torque performance of 88Nm at 4750 rpm. The BS4 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and Sport Pro were sold at price of Rs 10.91 Lakhs and Rs 11.42 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi), respectively. Hence, the BS6 compliant models are nearly Rs 1-2 Lakhs premium than their BS4 counterparts.
