BS6 Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 gets a price increase of Rs 1500.

Bajaj Auto has announced a price hike on selected BS6 models in the Indian markets. Bajaj Pulsar Series is one of the popular motorcycles from the Indian two-wheeler giant. Recently, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 got a second price hike of Rs 1500. Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 was launched in India in April 2020. The less powerful sibling of NS 200, Pulsar NS 160 was earlier priced at Rs 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom), Delhi at the time of its launch. With the new round of hike, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 price now is Rs 1.07 lakh (ex-showroom), Delhi. The bike is sold in three colours namely Fossil Grey, Wild Red and Saffire Blue. 

The 160cc motorcycle does not come with any design updates, it is identical to the outgoing BS4 model. BS6 Pulsar NS 160 key highlights include a semi-digital instrument cluster, split seats, engine cowl, aggressive halogen headlight and alloy wheels. The two-wheeler comes with aggressive and muscular styling. Thus what you see is a muscular fuel tank, clip-on handlebars, backlit switchgear are some other defining features of this bike.  

The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is powered by a BS6 4 Stroke, SOHC 4 Valve, Oil Cooled, Twin Spark BSVI DTS-i FI engine. The engine churns out 17.2 bhp of maximum power @ 9,000 RPM and 14.6 Nm of peak torque @ 7,250 rpm. The powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Fuel-injection system is added to the BS6 engine, it improves the bike’s performance as well as fuel economy. 

Bajaj Auto retains the mechanical components of the BS4 model. The Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 is equipped with a 260 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc along with a single-channel ABS. Telescopic with Anti-friction Bush at the front and Nitrox mono shock absorber with Canister towards the rear takes care of suspension duties. Total fuel capacity of the naked street racer is 12-litres. The ground clearance of the bike stands at 177 (mm) while the bike weighs 151 kgs.
