BS6 Pulsar NS 200 price is Rs 1.29 lakh with a new hike of Rs 1,000

Bajaj Auto has increased the price of its popular model Pulsar NS 200 by almost Rs 1,000. This hike is similar to the one done on Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 just recently. For the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 this is the second price increase from what was done in May. The bike was launched in April 2020 at an introductory price of Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom), Delhi. The manufacturer had earlier hiked the price of NS 200 by Rs 3,000 making it costlier at Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom), Delhi. Now with another Rs 1,000 increase, the new price of

2020 Pulsar NS 200 stands at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), Delhi. With the hikes in recent months, Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is more expensive than its main competitor - BS6 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V that is priced at Rs 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom), Delhi. The motorcycle is available in four colour namely Graphite Black, Mirage White, Fiery Yellow and Wild Red.

The hike isn’t just limited to BS6 Pulsar 200 NS with Avenger Cruise 220, Platina 100, Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 models also getting expensive. The increase in prices can be attributed to rise in the input cost of components following the COVID-19 outbreak that has disrupted the supply chain. Despite the hike in the price, the 2020 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 doesn’t get any feature update. Pulsar NS 200 is powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder, BS6 compliant engine that delivers 24 bhp of power and 18.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes with Bajaj’s patented Triple-spark technology plus it’s fuel-injected. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. While suspension duties are handled by front telescopic forks and Nitrox monoshock absorber  towards the rear. It comes equipped with a 300mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes. The bike gets a single-channel ABS as a standard offering. Pulsar NS200 is based on Bajaj’s perimeter frame and is muscular in design. Some key features include LED taillight, split seats, digital and analogue combined instrument cluster.
