Heavy discounts and offers on BS4 compliant Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and 150 Twin Disc.

Coronavirus outbreak is the only reason for the declining Indian economy from the past month, though the worst effects can be effectively seen in the Indian automotive segment. The BS4 emission norms are at in its final stage before the BS6 norms kick in. But this drastic shift has not been an easy one for the manufacturers. There are a few BS4 stocks still left with the automakers which they want to sell off before the vehicles are scrapped. As a reult, manufacturers and dealers are offering huge discounts on BS4 Bikes

The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto has introduced BS6 to almost all its lineup including the Bajaj Pulsar range. But Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and 150 Twin Disc still have some BS4 stock left. A huge discount is being offered on them. Originally, the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 was priced at Rs 1,40,000 (ex-showroom). With BS6 norms kicking in, it is now offering a huge discount of Rs 18,000 on its ex-showroom price. Similarly, Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc was initially priced at Rs 89,837 (ex-showroom) and is now available with a discount of Rs 15,000.

Due to the ongoing COVID’19 lockdown, dealerships across India are shut. The companies are not being able to sell their products. The Supreme Court of India has extended the deadline for sale of BS4 vehicles for another 10 days once this lockdown is lifted. However, the apex court has only allowed for the sale of 10 percent of these vehicles. Due to this, there is a lot of BS4 inventory that is expected to remain unsold.
