BMW has launched the X4 SUV Coupe in India with a starting price of Rs. 60.60 lakhs

BMW's X range of SUVs in India gets a new addition, the BMW X4. Essentially a coupe version of the X3, the new BMW X4 is more of a lifestyle vehicle compared to its practical SUV sibling. The BMW X4 is available in three versions - xDrive20d M Sport priced at Rs. 60.60 lakhs, xDrive30i M Sport for Rs. 63.50 lakhs and xDrive30d M Sport for Rs. 65.90 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom).

The 2.0-litre petrol 30i produces 252 HP of power and 350 Nm of torque with a claimed 0-100 km/hr in 6.3 seconds. The 2.0-litre diesel 20d churns out 190 HP and 400 Nm which does 0-100 km/hr in 8 seconds. The 3.0-litre 6-cylinder diesel 30d produces 265 HP and 620 Nm with 0-100 km/hr timing of 6 seconds.

The BMW X4 is locally assembled in the Chennai plant. It is available in 4 colour options - Alpine White, Flamenco Red Brilliant Effect, Phytonic Blue and Carbon Black. It is loaded with features including iDrive Touch, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Harman Kardon 16-speakers 600 Watts surround sound system, BMW Apps, Wireless Apple CarPlay and full colour Head-Up Display.

Safety features of the new BMW X4 include 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control with Cornering Braking Control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, side impact protection, Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks, Dynamic Traction Control, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control.
