Women take the center stage at events organized at exclusive BMW Group events across India.

International Women’s Day was celebrated on Sunday, 8th March by BMW Group India. German Automaker lined up several exciting events like driving rides, golf tournaments, bicycling with lifestyle experiences from art, health, wellness, beauty, and gourmet dining organized at BMW dealerships. BMW women customers got the opportunity to experience the dynamic performance, precise handling and safety features of BMW and MINI cars first-hand. 

Bird Automotive organized a meet and drive in Delhi which was flagged from the Roseate luxury resort. Pallavi Singh, Director – Marketing, BMW India flagged off the special drive with participants driving BMW and MINI cars from NH8 towards the lush greens of Lutyens’ Delhi. Tippling Arts and Segway organized a special art district tour where women driving Segway Transporters explored Lodhi Road. It is the art hub of National Capital where the artists have turned various buildings into a colourful canvas of graffiti, murals and life-size paintings. From Lodhi Road, women participants drove back to Roseate where a fun event ‘Wine and Paint’ was organized. Inspired by Iconic American artist Andy Warhol, customers painted their colourful versions of new BMW X1 and the MINI Clubman. Women customers were gifted MINI Nappa Dori Folios as souvenirs to mark their participation. 

Krishna Automobiles in Chandigarh organized a drive that saw immense participation from women leaders who made a big mark in their professional fields. Renowned fashion designer Ritu Kochhar and Sub Lieutenant Shivangi Swaroop, the first woman to steer an Indian naval aircraft to the skies took the BMWs for a ride. In Hyderabad and Chennai, KUN exclusive’s women customers got an opportunity to test the BMW 3 Series, BMW 5 Series, BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, BMW X1, BMW X3, BMW X5, MINI Countryman, MINI Convertible and MINI Cooper S. In Mumbai, Infinity Cars was among the sponsors of the recently held ‘Women’s Rally to the Valley’ organized by Western India Automobile Association where over 400 women raced from Mumbai to Aamby Valley while raising awareness about road safety.
