BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition Launched in India

BMW launched the new 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic edition in the country. The luxury sedan is offered in both diesel and petrol variants. Talking about the price, the 330Li iconic edition costs Rs 53.50 lakhs (ex-showroom). While the 320Ld iconic edition is retailed at Rs 54.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). Furthermore, the vehicle will be produced at the automaker’s plant in Chennai. Both petrol and diesel variants are available at all BMW India dealerships from today onwards. 


BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition: Design & Color Options

Cosmetically, the 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic edition flaunts the BMW Iconic Glow Kidney grille upfront. In addition, it gets LED headlights, a long bonnet, short overhangs, slim three-dimensional L- shaped LED taillights, and two large freeform tailpipes. 

The new 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic edition is offered in three color options namely Mineral White, Cashmere Silver, and Carbon Black. 

BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition: Features

The cabin of the new 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic edition is quite spacious with ample legroom space in the rear compartment. It further boasts of Vernasca leather upholstery. The iconic edition comes equipped with a plethora of BMW ConnectedDrive technologies. These include a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, a 10.25-inch Control Display, 3D Navigation, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, wireless charging, BMW virtual assistant, and Harman Kardon Surround system with 16 loudspeakers. Other feature highlights include crystal gear shift knob, rear seat headrest cushion, a coat hanger with the base carrier, 480-litre luggage compartment, welcome light carpet, electrically adjustable front seats, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, automatic tailgate operation among many others. The galvanic embellisher on the centre console adds a premium appeal to the cabin. 


BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition: Safety Features

The safety kit of 3 Series Gran limousine Iconic edition comprises six airbags, electric parking brake with auto hold, electronic vehicle immobilizer & crash sensor, attentiveness assistance, ISOFIX child seat mounting, parking assistant with rearview camera, reversing assistant, dynamic stability control (DSC) including cornering brake control (CBC), and integrated emergency spare wheel under the load floor. Talking about BMW EfficientDynamics, it comes with features like auto start-stop, electronic power steering, brake energy regeneration, ECO PRO mode in driving experience control, 50:50 weight distribution, and 8-speed Steptronic Sport Automatic Transmission.

BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the BMW 330Li trim is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 257 bhp power and 400 Nm peak torque. The vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds. The BMW 320Ld variant, on the other hand, is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that generates 189 bhp power and 400 Nm peak torque. The car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in a mere 7.6 seconds.
