Ducati India announces appointment of Bipul Chandra as its new Managing Director.

Italian sports bike manufacturer, Ducati India have announced the appointment of Bipul Chandra as its new Managing Director India operations. Bipul will be taking over from Sergi Canovas who was currently heading operations in the country as he moves to an International role at Ducati Motor Holding. Prior to his appointment, Chandra was Sales Director at Ducati India and now will be responsible for heading business development and network expansion.    

“It’s an honor to be associated with a leading global superbike manufacturer. It was an absolute pleasure working with the India team and I look forward to newer challenges in my role as the Managing Director for Ducati in India”, commented Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India.

Looking at his career graph, Bipul has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. He has worked with brands like Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto Ltd and Tata Motors where his role primarily was to steer growth and expansion. Being a veteran, he has excellent analytical skills, system & process orientation, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural & geographical environment.
