Yamaha Motor has a prominent name as a manufacturer of performance-oriented and budget-friendly bikes in India. The company has launched several bikes in the past with amazing design, features, and specs within budget.
Yamaha M-15 was launched at Rs 1,39,400 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The company gave a price hike of Rs 500 to the bike recently. It is now being offered at Rs 1,39,900 (Ex-Showroom). The BS6 MT-15 gives an ARAI certified mileage of 48 kmpl. Upfront, it gets a unique bug eye-shaped LED headlight with DRLs. At the rear, it features taillights. Apart from this, the bike also gets a neatly chiseled fuel tank, sharp tank shrouds, and neon-colored pinstripes on the alloy wheels. Feature highlight includes multi-functional LCD negative instrument cluster, variable valve actuation, and delta box frame for rigidity balance. The 2020 MT-15 is powered by a 155 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 18.5 bhp power and 13.9 Nm torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Braking duties are taken care of by a 282 mm disc brake upfront along with a 220 mm disc brake at the rear. The bike gets single-channel ABS as standard. It comes in a single variant and is available in three color options namely Metallic Black, Dark Matt Blue, and Ice Fluo Vermilion.

Yamaha India launched the FZS-FI version 3.0 last year. After a price hike of Rs 2600 over its BS4 model, the bike is now available at Rs 1.01 lakh (Ex-Showroom). As for mileage, the bike offers 45 kmpl, ARAI certified. In terms of design, the bike gets an all-new LED headlamp, tall handlebars, new tank extensions, and a single-piece seat. Other highlighted features include a negative LCD instrument console that displays information like a fuel gauge, odometer, two trip meters, F trip, and a clock among others. The bike also gets an Eco indicator that guides riders with throttle modulation so that they are able to extract more fuel-efficiency from the engine. Mechanically, it is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor that produces 13.2 bhp power and 12.8 Nm torque. The motor is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. Anchoring the bike is a 282mm disc upfront and a 220mm disc at the rear. The bike is available in five color options namely Black, Metallic Red, Matt Blue, Matt Black, and Grey Cyan
Yamaha launched BS6 YZF R15 V3.0 last year at Rs 1.45 lakh (Ex-Showroom). Recently, the bike got a price hike in the range of Rs 500 - Rs 1000. The bike delivers an ARAI certified mileage of 40 kmpl. As for features, the 2020 Yamaha R15 V3.0 comes equipped with a sleek twin headlamp that gives it an aggressive look and an LED taillight. Other highlighted features include variable valve actuation and a multi-functional LCD instrument cluster with the gear shift indicator. The bike is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 18.3 bhp power and 14.1 Nm torque. The engine is linked to a 6-speed gearbox. In terms of the brake, it gets 282mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. It also gets side stand engine cut-off. The bike is available in three colors namely Racing Blue, Thunder Grey, and Dark Knight. The graphics on the Dark Knight and Thunder Grey colored trim looks similar to the BS4 counterpart. The Racing Blue variant gets refreshed graphic with a silver strip bearing an R15 logo plastered across the fairing.
