Benelli India has launched the 2021 Imperiale 400 at a sticker price of Rs 1.89 lakhs (ex-showroom) in the country. The company has reduced the price of the new motorcycle by Rs 10,000 due to increase in localization and strengthening of the rupee against the dollar. It is also offering a 2-year unlimited kms manufacturer warranty and customers also have the option to purchase the extended 2-year warranty separately. Plus the brand is offering an added benefit of 24x7 RSA service as a part of its after-sales service.

Benelli Imperiale 400 BS6 was launched last year in July at an introductory price of Rs 1.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Recently, the Italian bikemaker had also launched the 2021 TRK 502 in the country and despite it being updated with a BS6 engine, it attracted a price lower than the BS4 model. Benelli Imperiale 400 competes against the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Standard and Honda Hness CB350 in the Indian market. As for styling, it comes in a retro look with a round headlamp, a straight handlebar, a peanut-shaped fuel tank, spoke wheels and chrome accents. Some of the standard features available on the motorcycle consist of a traditional lighting setup, round analogue console with LCD and dual-channel ABS.

Mechanically, the 2021 Benelli Imperiale 400 is powered by a 374cc single-cylinder fuel-injected air cooled petrol engine which generates a maximum power output of 20.7 bhp @6000rpm and peak torque performance of 29Nm @3500rpm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed gearbox.
