Bajaj Pulsar RS200 BS6 & Bajaj Pulsar NS200 BS6 prices increased, both are powered by the same 200cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine

The Indian automobile industry is getting back on the track with manufacturing companies resuming operations and opening dealerships. Bajaj Pulsar RS200 BS6 & Bajaj Pulsar NS200 BS6 models got a price hike of Rs 3500. The Bajaj duo were recently launched in the Indian market and replaced the outdated BS4 models. Initially, the  Pulsar RS 200 was priced at Rs 1.45 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).  Now the  BS6 model's price is Rs 1.47 Lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The Pulsar NS200 BS6 model at the time of the launch was priced at Rs 1.24 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). With the increase in the prices, BS6 compliant NS200 will be available at a cost of Rs 1.27 Lakhs in the Indian market. The increment in the prices doesn’t correspond to any feature addition in the NS200 and RS200.

 

Bot the 200cc bikes motorcycles have several common parts like the engine. Both the motorcycles are powered by BS6 200cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine with fuel injection. The NS200 and RS200 both see increase in the performance to 24.2bhp of power and 18.6Nm of peak torque. The transmission in both the bikes is six-speed units. Bajaj Pulsar RS200 comes with dual-channel ABS and Bajaj Pulsar NS200 will have only single-channel ABS.

Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is available in Graphite Black, Racing Red, and Racing Blue while Bajaj Pulsar NS200 will be offered in colour schemes like Graphite Black, Mirage White, Fiery Yellow, and Wild Red. The instrument console and other mechanical parts are the same. The Bajaj Pulsar 200 duo come with split seats. There are rumours of the launch of 400 CC RS model in the Indian market, it will come with RS200 styling and Dominar motor.
