The thieves prefer to rob Bajaj Pulsar 150cc and 180cc more than any other bike

The Bajaj Pulsar made its debut in 2001 and was a huge success. Ever since that the Pulsars were mainly purchased by the young enthusiasts. The power and acceleration of these bikes attracted not only enthusiasts but also thieves. The black colour Pulsar 150cc and 180cc were the most stolen bikes.

The thieves used to rob Yamaha RX100 and Hero Splendor but now, the choice of the bike has changed to Pulsars. The market is full of Pulsar so robbing it also makes it easier. The Crime Investigation Department of West Bengal also stated that these stolen bikes are sent to Bangladesh and the engines from these bikes are used to power the boats. The power of these bike engines is sufficient to propel the boats.

Apart from smuggling the bikes, these theft bikes are sold to students for just Rs. 5000/-. These bikes are sometimes taken to another city and then disposed off while there are some garages who transform the bike to another avatar in no time.
