The Avenger 180 is now officially on sale and costs Rs 83,475 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). It will replace the Avenger Street 150 in Bajaj’s line-up. The bike features a new headlight (first seen 2018 Avenger Street 220), visor and graphics. There’s no digital instrument cluster though, this bike gets an analogue unit instead. Apart from this, the bike looks identical to the Street 220.
This bike also features the revised seat from the 220, which provides greater riding comfort over longer journeys according to Bajaj. The bike’s 180cc motor makes 15.5hp and 13.7Nm and channels power via a five-speed gearbox. Bajaj hasn’t told us which engine this is yet, whether it’s a new unit or an uprated version of an older engine.
The bike is available in two colours - Ebony Black and Spicy Red.
