Bajaj Auto resumed operations at the Waluj production facility in Aurangabad in the last week of April. The Indian motorcycle brand was operating the production unit in two shifts. Despite the rise in the COVID-19 cases in the country as well as at the manufacturing unit, Bajaj Auto declined to shut down the Aurangabad plant. The company's other production units in Chakan (near Pune) and Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) haven't reported any COVID-19 cases so far.

Bajaj Auto claims that no COVID-19 cases were detected from the April 24 when the production unit was opened. The first COVID-19 case at Bajaj came to the notice of management on 6th June 2020.
