Bajaj will discontinue non-ABS Dominar

Of the two versions on sale, the ABS and non-ABS, Bajaj has decided to discontinue the non-ABS variant. More than 80 percent of Dominar 400 customers had purchased the ABS variant, according to Bajaj. So, Bajaj decided to discontinue the version, and as it stands, the Dominar 400 in India will now start at Rs 1.58 lakh instead of Rs 1.44 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

The company recently added three new colours - Rock Matte-black, Canyon Red and Glacier Blue. These versions also come with gold-coloured wheels. The bike is powered by a tweaked version of the 373cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine borrowed from the KTM 390 Duke. The motor makes 34.5hp and 35Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The company has stopped producing the non-ABS Dominar, but you can still get the bike at dealerships until stocks last.
