The leading two- and three-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto, has rolled out the latest Chetak 3201 Special Edition in the Indian market. The new electric scooter is priced at INR 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Compared to the other variants of the Chetak e-scooter, the Special Edition receives new aesthetic and feature upgrades.
Interested buyers can purchase the Chetak 3201 Special Edition on Amazon. This is Bajaj Auto's first collaboration with an e-commerce giant to retail its vehicles. The remaining paperwork can be done at the brand’s official dealership. Additionally, the manufacturer recently announced that it has teamed up with Flipkart, and under the new agreement, the brand will be selling its bike range online.

Bajaj Auto is a part of the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for electric vehicles. The company revealed that for the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS), the new Chetak 3201 Special Edition, Chetak Premium, and Chetak Urbane (3202) have already been approved by the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI). The new Chetak 3201 houses a range of amenities, including a color TFT instrument console, an auto hazard light, and Bluetooth connectivity through the Chetak App.
The electric scooter features quilted seats and tone-on-tone embossed decals, enhancing the overall riding experience. It takes inspiration from the Chetak top-end premium variant. Bajaj Auto is offering the Chetak 3201 in a Brooklyn black paint scheme. The special edition continues to feature a solid steel body and a powerful life-proof feature, and it is IP67-rated when it comes to water resistance. With a top speed of 73 kmph, the scooter delivers a certified range of 136 km (ARAI-certified) on one charge.
