The BS6 version of Avenger 220 Cruise gets no cosmetic updates; only change is in the powertrain.

Bajaj Auto India recently hiked the price of the BS6 version of Avenger Cruise 220 by Rs 2500 in the country. The motorcycle is now available at Rs 1.19 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom). Earlier the company launched the BS6 version of Avenger 220 Cruise at Rs 1.17 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom) about a month ago. Compared to its BS4 counterpart which was priced at Rs 1.05 lakh, the total effective price hike stands at about Rs 14,000.

In terms of design and features, the BS6 Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise remains unchanged. It continues to sport a digital instrument cluster, a high windscreen, cushioned pillion backrest, halogen headlamp with LED DRLs, and spoke wheels. The chrome accents across the body give it a premium look. 

Under the skin, the BS6 Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise is powered by a 220cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out 19 bhp power and 17.55 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and boasts of FI and twin-spark technology. 

In terms of brakes, the BS6 Avenger 220 Cruise gets 280 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum brake. Suspension duty is carried out by conventional telescopic forks with double bush and a five-way adjustable twin shock absorber at the rear. A single-channel ABS is offered as standard. The motorcycle is available in just two colour options namely Auburn Black and Moon White.
