It will get a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol TFSI engine.

Audi will launch the petrol Q5 on June 28. The petrol Q5 will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol TFSI motor, which puts out 252hp and 370Nm.

The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The equipment list will be the same as the diesel version of this car, so you’ll get Audi’s virtual cockpit and wireless smartphone connectivity compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The petrol version will allow the company to offer a petrol option which its rival, the Volvo XC60, doesn’t for now.
