Prices are estimated to range from Rs 48-56 lakh.

Audi will launch its second-gen Q5 in India on January 18, 2018. Prices are expected to range between ₹48 lakh and ₹56 lakh (estimated, ex-showroom) and Audi is looking at local assembly of the model to keep prices competitive.

There are no engine details yet, but you can expect the car to be powered by a 190hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine, a 252hp, 2.0-litre petrol and a range-topping 286hp, 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine. The engines will come mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

The New Q5 is built on the VW Group’s MLB Evo platform, and is lighter than the outgoing car. There will be an array of tech on the inside; you can expect top trims to come with the Virtual Cockpit all-digital instrument cluster, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, and an 8.3-inch free-standing screen for the MMI system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The new-gen model is scheduled to debut and launch at the Auto Expo 2018.
