Audi Q2 has been presented in five grades: Standard, Premium, Premium Plus I, Premium Plus II and Technology

Audi India has finally launched the Q2 SUV at an introductory price of Rs 34.99 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being the company's entry-level model in the Indian market, Audi Q2 has been presented in five grades: Standard, Premium, Premium Plus I, Premium Plus II and Technology. In addition, the German luxury automaker has also introduced a couple of styling packages for the SUV in the form of Advance Line & Design Line. Audi Q2 bookings had commenced nearly 10 days back at a token amount of Rs 2 Lakhs in India.




Being Audi's fifth launch this year in India, the Q2 measures 4191mm in length, 1794mm in width, 1508mm in height, while having a wheelbase of 2601mm. The company has launched the pre-facelifted model of the SUV in the Indian market which is on sale in global markets since 2016. It is based on the Volkswagen Group's MQB architecture while it comes loaded with several upmarket features such as 17-inch multi-spoke wheels, LED tail-lamp cluster with dynamic turn signals, multi-function steering wheel and 4-speaker MMI infotainment systemwith Bluetooth connectivity as standard. The buyers can also avail a sunroof as optional even with the base trim while it is offered as standard feature in higher trims.




Under the bonnet, Audi Q2 comes with a BS6 compliant 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged TFSI petrol engine which develops 190bhp and 320Nm. The engine is linked to a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox which transmits the power to all the four wheels via Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system. If we talk about competitors, Audi Q2 has no direct rivals in India due to its compact size. Audi is offering a ‘Peace of Mind’ introductory offer with the SUV which includes 5 years Comprehensive Service Package, 2+3 years Extended Warranty and 2+3 years Roadside Assistance. Audi Q2 safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, seat-belt warning system and high-speed alert system as standard. Initially, the SUV will be sold as CBU in the Indian market.
