Audi E-Tron GT Concept Unveiled At The LA Auto Show

Audi e-tron GT Concept unveiled and production to start from late 2020.

The Audi e-tron GT Concept looks very aggressive and the dimensions of the car are very much similar to the A7 Sportback. The vehicle was co-developed by Audi Sport and Porsche. The e-tron GT Concept was built on Taycan’s platform.

The hexagonal grille along with Matrix LED headlight and sporty bumper design makes the front fascia's look very belligerent. The air intakes on the front bumpers are also large for better cooling of the battery pack. The sloping roofline, side skirts look very appealing. While on the rear, the taillight stretches across the width of the car. The e-tron GT Concept sits on 22-inch alloy wheels which are wrapped around 285/30 section tyres.

The car’s cabin is very sleek and clean, it has an all-digital instrument cluster, the various functions of the car are touch operated and can be controlled by an intelligent voice assistant. The materials used on the inside is top-notch and steering wheel of the car is upholstered in Alcantara. Moreover, the production car is expected to come with Level 3 autonomous functions.

Powering the e-tron GT is expected to be a dual-motor unit which is capable to generate 582 HP and can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr mark in just 3.5 seconds and the top speed of the car is limited to 240 km/hr. The vehicle’s battery pack uses an 800-volt system and can be charged up to 80 percent in just 20 mins. The exact range from the battery is not announced yet but expect it to be more than 400 km. However, the e-tron GT’s production will commence by the end of 2020.
