The Audi e-Tron GT and RS e-Tron GT will be the third and fourth all-electric additions to Audi’s India portfolio

Audi India is all set to launch its next electric product - Audi eTron GT, in the country sometime during the festive season. The electric SUV will be offered in a total of two trims namely S and RS. The automaker has commenced the pre-bookings of the electric SUVs at a token amount of Rs 10 lakh. As for the price, we can expect it to be around Rs 1.50 crores(ex-showroom). 


Audi e-Tron GT: Design

In terms of design, The Audi e-Tron GT features the brand’s signature single-frame grille. In addition, it gets wedge-shaped headlights along with LED DRLs. The LED matrix headlamps are offered as an option. The car further flaunts a sloping roofline, low bonnet, and wide shoulder line. The wheel size ranges between 19-21 inches. The side windows get wedge-shaped graphics in an upward format. The rear end of the e-Tron GT boasts of LED tail lamps and turn signals. The rear window is flat and long which ends in a black zone. The rear diffuser gives the SUV a sharp look from behind. 

Audi e-Tron GT: Features

Moving inside the cabin of the e-Tron GT, it boasts of wool-like Kaskade upholstery. The feature highlights include an all digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch central MMI touch display, three-zone automatic air-conditioning, among many others. The RS e-Tron GT comes equipped with sport seats along with 14-way adjustment, seat heating, and lumbar support. Besides these, the steering wheel and seats feature special RS badges. Also, the footrests and pedal caps are made up of stainless steel. 


Audi e-Tron GT: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the e-tron GT will come with an 85 kWh electric battery that further delivers charge to an electric motor mounted on each axle. The motor located on the front axle will generate a top power of 238 bhp. While the motor on the rear axle will produce 435 bhp. The maximum power output that can be churned out is 475 bhp. This can further be extended up to 530 bhp if the launch control function is used. The peak torque stands the same at 630 Nm. Transmission options include a 2-speed unit for the rear motor. While an all-wheel-drive system is offered as standard. Talking about the battery pack, it will give a driving range of approximately 488 km on a single charge. Audi RS e-Tron GT, on the other hand, will deliver a top power of 598 bhp and a peak torque of 830 Nm. The power output can further be extended up to 646 bhp in the boost mode. This variant will cover a driving range of 471 km on a full charge.
