Audi e-Tron GT has been launched at a starting price of Rs 1.80 crore in the country

Audi has finally launched the much-anticipated e-Tron GT at a starting price of Rs 1.80 crore (ex-showroom) in India. The price goes as high as Rs 2.05 crore (ex-showroom) for the top-end RS e-Tron GT trim. The vehicle can be booked either online at www.audi.in or at your nearest Audi India dealership. The deliveries will commence by January 2022. 


Audi e-Tron GT: Design

Design-wise, the e-Tron GT looks quite similar to the first audi e-Tron GT concept from 2018. The four-door coupe flaunts a sloping roofline and low bonnet. Upfront, it features LED headlights and honeycomb pattern grille in light Hekla grey color or body color as an option. On the sides, the car gets 20-inch, 5-spoke, black, diamond-turned alloy wheels. Moving towards the rear end, the vehicle gets LED tail lamps and turn signals. The rear diffuser gives a sharp look to the e-Tron GT from behind. Talking about the RS e-Tron GT, it gets matrix LED headlights upfront. 

Audi e-Tron GT: Features

The cabin of the Audi e-Tron GT is inspired by the ‘monoposto’ concept. The RS e-Tron GT comes equipped with an RS styling package. It features a sports steering wheel with Alcantara upholstery along with contrasting stitching. One may also find Nappa leather upholstery on certain panels and Express Red or Steel Grey seatbelts. Audi has equipped the e-Tron GT with a plethora of features. These include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a shift-by-wire gear selector, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen 3D sound system, connected car technology, ambient lighting, among many others. Besides this, the vehicle also gets a fixed panoramic glass roof as standard. However, this can be further upgraded to a carbon roof. The safety kit comprises 9 airbags, a 360-degree parking camera, ESC, traction control, lane departure warning, and many more. 


Audi e-Tron GT: Color Options

Talking about the color options, the e-Tron GT and the RS e-Tron GT are offered in a total of nine color options. They are Ascari blue, Ibis white, Floret silver, Mythos black, Tactics green, Dayton grey, Kemora grey, Suzuka grey, and Tango red. 


Audi e-Tron GT: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the e-Tron GT is powered by a 93 kWh lithium-ion battery pack along with a 237 bhp electric motor on the front axle and a 434 bhp electric motor at the rear axle. The standard e-Tron generates a combined power of 474 bhp and torque of 630 Nm. In the boost mode, the power can be extended up to 529 bhp. The standard trim is capable of achieving a top speed of 245 kmph and can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.1 secs. The RS e-Tron GT, on the other hand, can produce a combined power of 597 bhp and a torque of 830 Nm. In the boost mode, the power output can be extended up to 645 bhp. This particular variant can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in merely 3.3 secs while achieving a top speed of 250 kmph. Transmission duty is taken care of by a 2-speed unit for the rear motor. Both variants can be charged from 0-80 percent in 9 hours and 30 minutes with an 11 kW AC portable charger. While with a 22 kW charger, it takes 5 hours and 15 minutes to do the same. There is also a 270 kW DC fast charger that charges the vehicles up to 80 percent in just 22 and a half minutes.
