Much-awaited 2021 Audi A4 Facelift production begins at Aurangabad plant with launch expected in Q1 2021

2021 Audi A4 Facelift production is underway at the German automakers Aurangabad manufacturing facility. The facelifted sedan will offer design updates and a new mild-hybrid powertrain option. Its launch is slated for the first quarter of 2021, it will rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz C-Class, New Volvo S60 and BMW 3 Series in the domestic market. In the American market, the model retails at a starting price of $39,100 or Rs 28.74 lakh in Indian currency. Expect 2021 Audi A4 Facelift price in India to start from Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Audi A4 Facelift's exterior design is sharper and aggressive in comparison to its predecessor. The notable design highlights are a broader grille, LED headlights influenced by Audi A1 hatchback, revamped front and rear bumper. Overall in pictures, the sedan seems sportier and dynamic in appearance. It will be available with 2 sets of alloy wheels options 17 or 18-inch & 19-inch alloy wheels. 




As for the interior, the upgraded sedan will cater to Audi’s MMI infotainment system featuring a 10.1-inch touchscreen unit. Other additions will include updated head-up display and Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster. In Europe, the 2021 Audi A4 is currently sold with 6 engine options.  However when we look at India, the facelifted A4 will offer a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol powertrain equipped with a 12V mild-hybrid system. This engine will be paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission along with Audi's all-wheel-drive Quattro system as standard. 

Safety features onboard the luxury sedan would include Electronic Stability Control(ESC), ABS with EBD, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, rear-view camera with cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automated emergency braking, blind spot monitoring system among many others.
