The 2021 Audi A4 facelift production has already commenced at Aurangabad facility

Audi India has officially announced the launch of A4 facelift on January 5, 2021 in the country. The company had started the pre-bookings for the new sedan from December 21 across the country. The 2021 Audi A4 facelift booking amount was fixed at Rs 2 Lakhs while a 4 years Comprehensive Service Package was offered for free as a pre-booking offer. It will rival the likes of Mercedes Benz C Class, BMW 3 Series, Jaguar XE and the upcoming Volvo S60 in the Indian market with price beginning at around Rs 42 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).

The 2021 Audi A4 facelift will get several cosmetic updates in terms of exterior styling while the cabin will be packed with many new features. It will flaunt a broader single-frame front grille with newly designed LED headlamps and DRLs. The front and rear bumpers will also get minor tweaks while the tail-lamp cluster will be a redesigned unit too. The main highlight of the interior cabin will be the new free-standing 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Unlike the A6 and A8, Audi A4 will boast of physical controls for the automatic climate control system. It has been learnt that the new sedan will be available in two trims: Premium Plus and Technology.

Some of the other features in the 2021 Audi A4 facelift will include full LED headlamps, Audi's 'Virtual Cockpit' digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting and multi-zone climate control. It will only be available in petrol fuel trim with a new BS6 compliant 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged motor which will develop a top power of 190bhp. It will be linked to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox which will deliver power to the front wheels. This engine will replace the 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine which used to deliver 150bhp. The company is not keen on introducing a diesel engine at least for the time being with the new sedan. The 2021 Audi A4 facelift production has already commenced at Aurangabad facility.
