The new DB11 AMR will take over from the DB11 V12. It features an uprated V12 engine that is a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre powerplant. It puts out 639hp and 700Nm.
The AMR in the name stands for Aston Martin Racing. The engine sends power via a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox and uses a new and less restrictive exhaust system, which gives the car a racier tone. This car can hit 100kph in 3.7sec and can hit a top-speed of 335kph. The AMR variant is fitted with a more agile suspension and geometry set-up.
The DB11 AMR gets exposed carbon-fibre trim and gloss black detailing on the outside. On the inside, there was monochrome trim and Alcantara upholstery, along with a lime central stripe on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. At launch, the company is offering a limited-edition version (only 100 will be made) in Stirling Green and lime livery, which looks like the company’s racing models.
