It is identical to the SXR 160 in terms of styling, chassis and features, except for the 125cc engine. The scooter will also get longer, bigger and comfortable seating for two occupants. Some of the other features will include a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth mobile connectivity option, adjustable rear suspension and disc brake with CBS. Mechanically, Aprilia SXR 125 will come loaded with a BS6 compliant 125cc three valve fuel injection engine which will churn out a top power of 9.5bhp and peak torque of 9.2Nm. Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Diego Graffi, Chairman and Managing Director, Piaggio India said, “Aprilia SXR 160, the first scooter designed in Italy for India with the new Aprilia design philosophy, has received great appreciation from Indian market and to continue to offer even more excitement with Aprilia SXR, we are now gearing up for the launch of SXR 125. Our distinguished consumers now have the opportunity to pre-book this latest offering to Maxify lives, with the new Aprilia experience.”
