The G63 and G65 Exclusive Edition SUVs come with a host of tweaks to the exterior and interior.

Both special editions of the AMG G-Class will be unveiled at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor show 2017 and are called the G63 and the G65 Exclusive Edition. This is probably the last refresh before the new G-class, which will be revealed at the 2018 Detroit motor show, replaces the current car.

The cars will feature a unique grey paint finish, body protection elements in a dark aluminium look, a stainless running kick plate integrated within the lower edge of the front bumper, AMG racing stripes along the lower section of the doors, and a spare wheel cover painted in the vehicle colour.

The G63 comes with 21-inch matt-black alloy wheels, while the G65 uses different-looking alloys, with inserts in a carbon-fibre appearance. On the inside, the instrument panel is bathed in two-tone leather, there are sport seats with similarly styled two-tone leather upholstery featuring diamond-pattern quilting and integrated air conditioning. There are six colour combinations for the leather, with either carbon-fibre or black piano lacquer wood trim elements to choose from.

Mechanically, both Exclusive Edition cars make the same power as their standard siblings. The G63 is is fitted with a 5.5-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 that makes 571hp, while the G65 uses a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre V12 that puts out 630hp. There’s no information yet on whether these cars will be available in India.
