Toyota is ready to unveil a new SUV which will be positioned below the C-HR.

Toyota, the Japanese automaker, has started teasing the upcoming all-new small SUV ahead of its global debut at the 2020 Geneva International Motor Show. Being based on the Yaris sedan, the new Toyota B-SUV (internally codenamed) will enter series production at the company's Onnaing facility in France. The Yaris is also being developed at the aforementioned manufacturing unit already. It will be positioned below the C-HR SUV in international markets.

The teaser image confirms that new Toyota B-SUV will be offered with a hybrid engine and an all-wheel-drive system. Underpinning the modular TNGA-B platform, it will get a name soon ahead of the official unveiling. The new SUV will firstly go on sale in the European markets, followed by some of the countries in Asia. Toyota will pitch it against the likes of Nissan Juke and Renault Captur while equipping it first-grade comfort and safety features. For those asking, the company is all set to introduce the BS 6 compliant Fortuner SUV for the Indian market and two all-new products, in collaboration with Suzuki, are also in pipeline.

Mechanically, Toyota B-SUV will be offered with a couple of petrol engines in form of a 1.0L and a 1.5L besides the hybrid setups.
