The engine will be offered with both 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission as optional. While the 1.5-litre diesel engine will generate 99 bhp of power and 240 Nm of peak torque. This engine will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a first in segment 6-speed torque converter automatic unit.

Kia Sonet Expected Price: All-New Kia Sonet is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 7-12 Lakhs (ex-showroom), India.

Kia Sonet competition: Once launched, Kia Sonet will rival the likes of Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue and Maruti Vitara Brezza in the Indian market.
