Honda 2-Wheelers India has officially released a teaser image with the title “Powered By Legacy Here To Create Stories”. This teaser further gives us a confirmation that the Japanese brand will be launching a new motorcycle on 16 February 2021. The new bike is expected to be a cafe racer based on the Honda CB350.
Performance-wise, this new bike might use a new locally developed 350cc engine. This particular engine made its debut in CB350 Classic. In the present state, the motor develops a maximum power of 21 bhp and a peak torque of 30 Nm while being linked to a 5-speed gearbox. Furthermore, we can expect the bike to fall in the price bracket of Rs 1.86 lakhs - Rs 1.92 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The new Honda CB350 cafe racer will be sold through the brand’s premium dealership network called the ‘Big Wing’. In terms of the design, the new motorcycle will get clip-on handlebars and a forward-biased riding position. This will give a sportier look to the bike. It will also get a cafe-racer type single-piece seat and a seat cowl. Other design bits that we can expect on this new bike include classic silver bar-end mirrors, blacked-out shock absorbers, and new graphics on the fuel tank. The teaser image also reveals that the new cafe racer motorcycle will offer a revised rear profile. Instead of chrome treatment, it might receive all-black treatment for exhaust, front and rear fender, and other cycle parts.
Talking about the cycle parts, the upcoming cafe racer bike is likely to get a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. This is the same as the one present in the CB350.
