BMW S 1000 XR will be offered in a Pro variant in Ice Grey and Racing Red colour options.

The 2020 BMW S 1000 XR gets the latest LED technology for the headlamp, taillight, indicator lights and instrument cluster. It also gets four riding modes: Rain, Road, Dynamic and Dynamic Pro. Mechanically, BMW S 1000 XR is powered by a newly developed BS6 compliant 999cc in-line 4-cylinder engine which takes inspiration from the motor of BMW S 1000 RR. It develops a top power of 165bhp at 11000rpm and peak torque of 114Nm at 9250rpm. The 4th, 5th and 6th gears now have longer ratios, low noise level, lower fuel consumption and lower engine rpm at higher speeds. It does a 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.3 seconds while achieving a top speed of over 200kmph. It will directly rival  Ducati Multistrada 1260 S when it is re-launched with a BS6 engine. Mr. Arlindo Teixeira, acting President, BMW Group India said, “The all-new BMW S 1000 XR is an agile achiever that sets a new benchmark in the adventure sports segment. It is a power-packed performer that brings the real racetrack feel to everyday roads."
