Ford has said that it will be loading the car with a lot of technology, making it the most high-tech car in its line-up. The hatchback will be available in a sporty ST trim. This model will have lower suspension and other sporty additions.
This new car is built on the manufacturer’s new platform called C2; this platform will also be used by many other models in the company’s line-up, including the next upcoming Kuga SUV. The Focus will be powered by the EcoBoost engines that will be tuned to be more fuel efficient. The engine will be available in a few states of tunes between 85hp and 126hp. All models will use either a six-speed manual box or an eight-speed automatic.
The Focus will take on Hyundai’s i30 and Volkswagen Golf globally.
