New Honda City

As we are to believe, the New Generation City when introduced will sell alongside the current generation Honda City. Though drastically different from the present City, the newer version has a lot to offer. For starters it is the longest and widest model in the segment. It will now come with Full LED headlamps,Z-shaped wrap-round LED tail lights, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Agile Handling Assist (AHA), 17.7 cm HD full color TFT meter with G-meter, LaneWatch camera among others.

Feature wise, there will be a 20.3 cm touchscreen infotainment system with seamless Smartphone connectivity having Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Web Link. Like the current generation, this one too will offer an electric sunroof. However the noticeable change will be the debut of Alexa remote capability and next-generation Honda Connect with Telematics Control Unit (TCU).

As for the powertrains, there will be both petrol and diesel engines in the offering. The petrol model will come equipped with a 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine producing a maximum power output of 119 bhp with 145 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties will be handled by a 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox. While the diesel model will come fitted with a 1.5 litre i-DTEC engine delivering 98 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. It will be mated to only a 6-speed manual gearbox, There is no automatic variant going to be offered in this particular line-up.
