3 Scrambler Motorcycles have been launched namely Icon, Icon Dark and 1100 Dark Pro in the Indian market.

Today, Ducati India has launched 3 Scrambler models namely Icon, Icon Dark and 1100 Dark Pro in the Indian market. Scrambler Icon Dark now costs Rs 7.99 lakh while Scrambler Icon is priced at Rs 8.49 lakh. The Top-end Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro is available at a price tag of Rs 10.99 lakh. All the prices mentioned here are (ex-showroom), India. With the launch of these motorcycles today, Ducati Scrambler’s entire line-up is now compliant with BS6 Emission Norms. The updated MY21 Ducati Scrambler lineup comes with colour options, features, and upgraded engines. The Italian manufacturer says that the new lineup 'completes the Scrambler ‘Land of Joy’ in India'. 

Bookings for the new Scramblers are now open across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kochi, Kolkata and Chennai and deliveries will begin by 28th January, 2021.



The Scrambler Icon motorcycle updates include a steel teardrop fuel tank with interchangeable aluminum side panels, all-new DRL headlights and a softer hydraulic clutch control. It also gets a new Ducati Red paint scheme alongside the older model’s classic '62 yellow' colour. There is a blacked-out frame and seat. It is powered by the previous iteration’s 803cc air-cooled L-twin engine now in a BS6 avatar.



When we look at the Scrambler Icon Dark, then it is the most affordable out of the 3 models. It comes in an exclusive 'Matt Black' paint job. The other major updates consist of seats with a grey trim and black colour dipped frame. The Italian bike manufacturer calls the top-end Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO, as an 'elegant, pure and completely customizable bike'. Further, it now comes with a 'Dark Stealth' livery. Design-wise, it is the same as the other two models but differs in electronics and powertrain. Thus, it is powered by a 1079cc BS6 engine and boasts of a number of electronic features like Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Cornering ABS. Further, it offers three standard Riding Modes (Active, Journey and City).
