New Kia Sonet Facelift 2024 model was recently witnessed on cameras revealing some major exterior and interiors.
It is speculated that this new Kia Sonet Facelift variant will obtain some features.
In 2020, Kia introduced the Sonet, and the Korean automaker is currently preparing a facelifted version of the same vehicle. The new Sonet is scheduled to be live soon, potentially around 2024. The facelifted subcompact SUV has recently been seen testing on roads numerous times ahead of its unveiling.
Recently, Sonet's disguised test mule was captured on cameras, revealing details of the SUV's design and inside. According to reports, the prototype clicked is the Tech line's highest-spec grade and both its exterior and inside have undergone some obvious modifications.
Updated Exterior: 2024 Kia Seltos Facelift
Exterior improvements for the impending 2024 Sonet are anticipated to include a new Kia front grille and LED headlights with new contouring. A reprofiled front bumper is also visible. With the exception of the revised 16-inch alloy wheel design, the sides are unchanged. Kia seems to have chosen an integrated LED tail lamp system at the rear, giving it a more modern appearance.
Features and Interior Specs: 2024 Kia Seltos Facelift
Major improvements should be made to the Sonet's cabin interiors rather than its outside. The climate control panel appears to have been upgraded by Kia with a new display; the two-row button structure is now just one row with a number of toggles, even if the dashboard layout hasn't changed.
More importantly, the Sonet's cabin features brand-new dual-tone leatherette upholstery in beige and black tones. The 10.2-inch touchscreen, heated seats, Bose audio system, air purifier, and electric sunroof are anticipated to remain features of the 2024 Sonet. Additionally, innovations like a 360-degree parking camera and a fully digital driver's instrumentation are anticipated to be added. These elements are likely to be taken from the revised Seltos.
It is anticipated that the inclusion of the partial ADAS suite included in the Hyundai Venue will strengthen the safety kit of the facelifted Sonet. It is anticipated to have functions including forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance, leading vehicle departure alert, lane following assistance, lane-keeping assistance, lane departure warning, driver attentiveness warning, and high beam assistance. Another possibility is for six airbags to become the norm.
The same range of engine choices as the present model will likely be available for the 2024 Sonet from Kia. This includes a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, a 1.5-liter diesel engine, and a 1.2-liter normally aspirated gasoline engine. Depending on the engine, a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT automatic, 6-speed clutchless manual, and 6-speed torque converter automatic will all be available as transmission choices.
