Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler brand, is gearing up to launch a new scooter in the Indian market. The brand’s upcoming offering is expected to be none other than the famous Hero Destini 125 scooter that has been on sale in the market for nearly 6 years. The scooter has remained mostly unchanged since its official launch in India. Now, the automaker has shared a glimpse of the 2024 Destini 125 in a teaser video that has been shared on the brand's social media handle. The teaser reveals certain features and design upgrades.
The auto giant is all set to launch the Hero Destini 125 in the Indian market on September 7, 2024. Hero has made a few significant enhancements to the scooter’s design language. The Hero Destini 125 scooter will come equipped with a redesigned front apron along with turn indicators, a new LED headlamp, and a tail light. It is expected to receive several new features, including a completely digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and an i3S start/stop system.

The 2024 Hero Destini 125 receives a front disc brake, and at the rear, it gets a drum brake. It is expected to get a Combi Braking System and a new set of alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. There will be new LED units inspired by Hero Activa. The scooter could also feature a backrest for the pillion at the rear. Additionally, for the scooter’s seats, the auto giant will be utilizing copper elements with a maroon shade. Hero is expected to offer new color schemes for the upcoming Hero Destini 125.
The two-wheeler giant is likely to offer the 2024 Hero Destini 125 scooter with the same engine option. The outgoing Destini 125 scooter draws power from a 125-cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that churns out power of 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 10.4 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The unit is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
