The 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift has been leaked online ahead of its official debut. The new SUV will have its world premiere on November 11, 2021 (tomorrow) at the GIIAS Motor Show in Indonesia. The leaked images reveal the exterior design and interior cabin of the SUV which goes on sale shortly in the Indonesian market. The 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift will be launched in India in the second half of next year while it rivals the likes of Tata Harrier, MG Astor, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq and Nissan Kicks.

Going by the leaked images, the Indoensia-spec Hyundai Creta flaunts a redesigned front fascia which is inspired from the current-gen Tucson SUV. It gets Hyundai's parametric grille which dominates the major part of the front end. The SUV is also equipped with LED DRLs while the headlamp units are more rectangular in shape and positioned a bit lower. As for the rear profile, the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift has been equipped with a sharp LED tail-lamp cluster and restyled bootlid which are identical to the Russia-spec Creta. The SUV boasts of a plethora of advanced features in the form of panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, cooled glove box, ambient lighting, air purifier and 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

However, the biggest addition to the Creta facelift range is the Advance Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) which consist of multiple safety features such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking. The India-spec model is also expected to come with ADAS. Moreover, Hyundai might also offer the latest version of BlueLink connected car technology with several new functions like stolen vehicle tracking, stolen vehicle immobilisation and a valet parking mode. Mechanically, the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift will be powered by the 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine which generates maximum power of 113 bhp and peak torque of 144 Nm. The Indonesia-spec model will not be available with a diesel mill.
