The 5-seater SUV will go on sale from December 7, 2021 in the Indian market

Volkswagen India has commenced the series production of the 2021 Tiguan at its Aurangabad facility in the country. It will be the German brand's fourth SUV launch this year in India. Underpinning the globally renowned MQB platform, the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan 5-seater SUV will go on sale from December 7, 2021 in the Indian market. The prospective buyers can register their interest for the new Tiguan across Volkswagen India dealerships or online at the company website. The SUV will rival Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass in India.


The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan will come with Matrix LED headlamps and 18-inch alloy wheels. It will be powered by a 2.0L TSI petrol engine, linked to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. Speaking at the start of production of the exciting new Tiguan, Mr. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, “World over, the Tiguan has proven its mettle as a robust and capable carline swiftly raising up to the rank as a global best-seller. The Tiguan is a perfect companion equipped with the right amount of power, performance and elegance. We look forward to the launch of the new 5-seater Tiguan early December 2021.”

Showroom).
