2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber directly rivals Indian Scout Bobber and Harley Davidson Street Bob

Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the 2021 Bonneville Bobber at a starting price of Rs 11.75 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, pan India) in the country. Being the iconic British brand's one of the most popular bikes, it comes with cosmetic as well as mechanical updates. Additionally, the 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber is available with 77+ genuine Triumph accessories which include high bar set-up, luggage and choice of seating options, and adjustable seating and foot peg position. The bike directly rivals Indian Scout Bobber and Harley Davidson Street Bob.




As for styling, the 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber flaunts a new signature full LED headlight with Triumph’s signature LED DRL and LED bullet indicators upfront. Other notable styling elements include sculpted top yoke, rubber gaiters, classic rear ‘drum brake’ inspired hub, side-mounted ignition barrel, black painted bar end mirrors, black engine covers, cam cover and sprocket cover. It will be offered in three paint schemes namely Matt Storm grey/Matt Ironstone, Cordovan Red and Classic Jet Black. The instrument cluster is finished in bezel with a metallic embellisher. It gets a new dial with translucent silver markings and warning lights. The multi-function display is controlled by a handlebar mounted scroll button.

The 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber rides on 16-inch classic wire-spoke design wheels with black rims. The rims have been shod up with specifically developed Avon Cobra tyres. The bike boasts of 47mm front forks and monoshocks at the rear as standard suspension setup. The riding position is adjustable – and the seat can be re-positioned ‘up and forwards’, or ‘down and backwards’ The braking duties are helmed by premium Brembo 2-piston calipers and twin discs upfront while there is a single disc set up at the rear. ABS and switchable traction control come as standard safety features. The 2021 Bonneville Bobber is equipped with two riding modes namely Road and Rain. The fuel tank is bigger than before and can store 12 litres of gasoline.




Mechanically, the 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber is powered by a BS6 compliant 1200cc engine which generates maximum power output of 77bhp at 6100rpm and peak torque performance of 106Nm at 4000rpm. It also features Triumph's sophisticated ride-by-wire system. The bike has a very high service interval of 16000 kilometres to keep the cost of ownership low.
