Toyota has begun the deliveries of the 2021 Fortuner range in the Indian market

Toyota India has announced that the 2021 Fortuner facelift and its exclusive Legender variant have amassed more than 5000 bookings in the country. In addition, the company has informed that it has begun the deliveries of the SUV to buyers in the Indian market. The 2021 Toyota Fortuner range was launched on January 6, 2021 at a starting price of Rs 29.98 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) while the top-of-the-line Legender trim was priced at Rs 37.58 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom). Toyota has sold over 1.70 Lakh units of the Fortuner till date in India.

The 2021 Fortuner can be booked online at Toyota's official website alongside the ongoing bookings at the company authorized dealer outltes across the country. Being originally launched in 2009, it commands a market share of more than 53 percent in the full-sized SUV segment in the Indian market. Recently, the company debuted the hands-free tailgate feature with the facelifted version. Furthermore, some of the other salient features of the SUV are an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 360-degree camera, cruise control and an 11-speaker premium JBL audio system. Mechanically, it gets a 2.7L petrol engine and a 2.8L diesel engine with options of manual and automatic transmissions. The customer also gets a choice between 4x2 and 4x4 drive systems.
