Toyota has released the list of official accessories for the 2021 Fortuner SUV which includes both exterior as well as interior elements.

The 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift had its world premiere in Thailand recently. The new SUV was introduced in two trim levels: Standard and Legender. Now, the Thai arm of the Japanese automaker has released the list of official accessories for the 2021 Fortuner SUV which includes both exterior as well as interior elements. It is expected to launch and go on sale in the Indian market in the first half of next year while taking on the likes of Ford Endeavour, Isuzu MU-X, Skoda Kodiaq and Mahindra Alturas G4.

Speaking of the exterior accessories, Toyota is offering front and rear skid plates which have been termed as 'bumper decoration kit'. In addition, side steps are also available for easier ingress. For styling blitz, the buyers can also avail ‘TRD Sportivo’ decals at the front and rear doors besides the thick beadings with chrome inserts. As for chrome lovers, a plethora of accessories are available for door handles, fog lamp housing, tail lamps etc. to name a few. The customers can also have a door edge protector for the safety of the doors. Additionally, various sportier elements such as blind-spot mirror extenders, stainless steel muffler tip, spare wheel cover, powered tailgate opener and scratch-resistant film are up for grabs.

The 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift interior accessories include front/rear camera recording, IRVM camera display, USB charging port, wireless charging and vinyl floor mats. Under the hood, the new SUV carries a 2.8L diesel engine, which is already on offer with the current-gen India-spec model. However, with the Thai-spec 2021 Fortuner facelift, it has gained more power and torque. The 2.8L engine now delivers 201bhp at 3400rpm and 500Nm between 1600-2800rpm as compared to India model's 175bhp at 3500rpm and 420/450Nm between 1400-2600rpm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission as standard while all-wheel-drive only features in the range-topping variants.
