The first unit of 2021 Safari has been rolled out from the assembly line in Pune

Tata Motors has rolled out the first unit of 2021 Safari from the assembly line of its production facility in Pune. In addition, the company has also introduced the Tata Safari Imaginator suite which is packed with interactive features using Augmented Reality (AR) for customers to explore the SUV virtually at their preferred location including their living room. The 2021 Tata Safari is expected to launch on January 26 with bookings starting in the next few days. It will directly rival Mahindra XUV500 and MG Hector 7-seater in the Indian market.

Adorning the company's new Impact 2.0 design language, the 2021 Tata Safari is based on the OMEGARC architecture which has been derived from Land Rover's renowned D8 platform. The cabin will be finished in Oyster White interior theme paired with Ash Wood dashboard. It has been learnt that the SUV will be introduced in four variants namely XE, XM, XT and XZ. In addition, it will come in two different seating configurations: 6-seater with Captain seats for the middle row and 7-seater with Bench seats for the middle row. The higher variants will boast of a huge panoramic sunroof, rear disk brakes and an electronic parking brake as standard. The color options for the SUV will be Royale Blue, Orcus White, and Daytona Grey.

Unveiling the first official look of the new Tata Safari, Mr. Guenter Butschek, CEO & MD, Tata Motors said, “The Safari is our flagship offering to connect the aspirations of the discerning and evolved Indian customer. It had introduced India to the SUV lifestyle and in its new avatar, will carry forward this rich idea to build further its legacy. The new Tata Safari is ideal for families and groups with a multifaceted lifestyle, who prefer to drive together for work or leisure, as it offers an unmatchable combo of an exceptionally strong lineage, robust build quality, premium finishes and the 4Ps of Power, Performance, Presence and Prestige to ‘Reclaim Your Life’. We look forward to making the Safari rule the Indian roads once again.”
