2021 Suzuki Hayabusa has globally been unveiled today. The much-awaited superbike is expected to arrive in the Indian market before the end of this year. Launch of the all-new Hayabusa is sweet news for the Indian consumer considering that it was discontinued post the advent of BS4 Emission Norms. Just a few days ago, the first teaser images of the motorcycle surfaced on the internet followed by a series of leaked snapshots. There was a promotional TVC leak as well which gave us further insights into the upcoming superbike. The unveiled bike sports new features as well as cosmetic updates in comparison to the discontinued model. 2021  Suzuki Hayabusa currently costs £ 16,499 in the UK, or Rs 16.47 lakh in Indian currency. The bike would cost in the region of Rs 20 lakhs (ex-showroom), India once it gets launched in the Indian market. 




The third-generation bike sports a new design with sharper edges and aggressive front fascia. It retains the silhouette and the design lines of the older model. The twin chrome-plated exhausts are sleeker and longer than before. Plus, the buyer can look forward to a new LED headlight, all-new fuel tank and an aerodynamic front profile. It will come loaded with features like wheelie control, multiple riding modes, traction control and a bidirectional quickshifter. Addition of 6-axis Bosch IMU-based traction control is the biggest change out here in comparison to the older model. Other IMU-based features like Hill Start Assist, ABS cornering package will excite customers across the world. For a comfortable riding experience, the Japanese two-wheeler giant has added cruise control while its handlebars have been moved forward by 12mm. 




Talking about the performance, 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a liquid-cooled 1340cc inline-4 engine. Its power output stands at 187 bhp while the bike churns out a torque figure of 150Nm. The new bike’s power output and torque have reduced by 10 bhp and 5Nm respectively in comparison to the older model. Transmission duty here is taken care of by a 6-speed manual gearbox. While braking responsibility is taken care by twin-discs upfront and a single disc towards the rear. The bike's weight stands at a massive 264 kgs while its fuel tank capacity is 20 litres.
